Beste Modus with fresh “Beste Freunde” VA compilation

Beste Modus was launched back in 2012 by the Berlin-based group that consists of Cinthie, Diego Krause, stevn.aint.leavn, Ed Herbst and Albert Vogt. The label gained a loyal following over the past few years, notoriously delivering material aimed squarely at the dance floor and always encompassing a raw, underground aesthetic. The imprints latest release is a four-track VA with yet another array of heavy house and techno cuts from Downhill music boss Moises, Griessmuhle Berlin regulars Esposito & Nadje, Slapfunk’s Anil Aras and Canada’s Paolo Rocco.

“Beste Freunde 05 VA”

Moises brings out groovy bass-line combined with swinging rhythms and raw pulsating pads in his “Easy Beauty” track. “Half Baked Philosophy” is a tune produced by Esposito & Nadje. The duo explored the deeper areas with a strong industrial influenced groove and dynamic dub stabs.

Anil Aras presents a fine combination of dub and techy vibes in his “Untitled” cut. The smooth beat is layered with sub bass and polished swingy hats that are topped with an endless stab. The last tune on the record comes from Canadian maestro Paolo Rocco. “lll” rounds out the package on a deeper note with silky pads, organic drum sounds and hip-house style vocal hooks.

The Beste Modus label continues to deliver strong dance-floor ready music with their 05 VA compilation. The release is set to 8th December and it will be available on a vinyl only.
