“ManooZ – EP #2”
“The Realest” contains a mixture of roughness combined with hip-hop vocal shots. In some tracks, this combo would sound over-used, but it’s pretty smoothly used in this record. A strong bass-line gives it a solid foundation while random noise glitches add’s a touch of Romanian feeling. The Swiss producer Agnès re-worked the first tune with a soft perception of clubbing mood. A bit faster bpm works nicely with synth patterns while vocal add-ons keep the similar vibe to the original. The subtle acid touches will definitely bring a spark of life to the dance-floors.
B side will be perfect for DJ’s that prefer dub feelings mixed with spacious pads and echo delays. “Dub Mood” is already perfectly described with its title. Basic groove built on dubby stab processed with endless delay shifting sounds left to right is just what a deep tune needs. Paul Deepnlow Moore remixed the B-sided original. His version kept the similar mellow taste with a minimalistic groove which is highlighted by the background shifting pads. These tunes make you lose the awareness of time easily.
