Music Reactions is a Belgrade based organization which has been regularly creating quality techno events in the Serbian capital city. Their this year’s third event will bring Lithuanian artist, Julius Laurašonis, aka Under Black Helmet, and a live act from a music duo Schwefelgelb. This techno feast will once again happen at one of the best local clubs, Drugstore Beograd.
Under Black Helmet
Berlin-based artist Under Black Helmet is a rising force in the dark art of industrial-laced techno. A protegee of Moerbeck’s expanding Code Is Law platform, has managed to craft his way alongside artists such as Dax J, Phase Fatale, Stanislav Tolkachev and Kobosil at all manner of venues across Europe. With his music already supported by the likes of Jeff Mills, Tommy Four Seven and Rebekah, the looming presence of Under Black Helmet is proliferating the warehouse and darkened corners of contemporary techno.
Besides Julius, the third instalment of Music Matters event will host yet another guest act. Schwefelgelb is a project created by two Berliner’s in form of a band: Sid as a singer and Eddy as a man behind the machines. The duo successfully combines sound elements with visual aspects, therefore, making their performances a whole around experience. Their prolific act and mastermind music lead them to perform all over the world, from Europe till Japan.
Hans Plisqin will be takin over the warm-up duties with a special blend of esoteric electronic music and leftfield sounds to get you just in the right mood for what’s following. As per usual, Music Reactions residents RAR and Betomeng will play special b2b closing set.
Get some rest and get ready for a dose of serious techno elements on 14th April at Drugstore Belgrade.
